Act Local. Think Global.

"All a government really can do is reflect back to us our own identity crisis, our own individual identity crisis, our own individual capabilities or incapabilities.

That is what governments end up doing and you change the government and governments do change regularly and when you change the government, watch to see if in fact, there is massive social change.

It doesn't work that way. The Vedic world view is you create massive social change and then governments change.

Governments are really a product, they are not the cause. The source of social change is the individuals in society and this message is a message that seems to have been lost.

We've made ourselves far too dependent on who is in power."
- Maharishi Vyasanand Saraswati (https://thomknoles.com/)

The blog is a bit different this month.

Maharishi Vyasanand Saraswati taught my teacher and whilst listening to his podcast, his eloquence on this subject was inspiring, I wanted to share it with you.

Many countries around the planet are experiencing a shift in governance; whether this is a newly elected spokesperson, a declaration of independence or shifting away from another political body – there is significant upheaval.

It may feel all too overwhelming to deal with and a fatigued response is to do nothing.

Your responsibility is not to save the world.

Your responsibility is be your truth.

So if you want things to change …..act local, be part of something you can change, take action and be available, work within your energy levels, don’t run yourself ragged.

Your small changes are more inspiring than you know.

Change, a better life, a more balanced planet is achievable if we work together.

We are living through a time of enforced change. Let’s learn from this.
