"Time isn’t precious at all, because it is an illusion. What you perceive as precious is not time but the one point that is out of time: the Now. That is precious indeed. The more you are focused on time — past and future — the more you miss the Now, the most precious thing there is."
- Eckhart Tolle
‘Where has the year gone?’ or ‘I can’t believe we are at the end of August.’
I have heard that quite a bit recently, it is very easy in my experience to get caught up with this conversation classic.
However, what some people really mean is …. ‘I haven’t done what I wanted to do by now’ or ‘there is so much still to do….’ .
Under that, is a sense of failure and unaccomplished goals.
There is a fine line between genuine desires or goals that you are naturally charmed to experience in your life and a pressure to achieve certain goals you think you ought to reach.
If you have a passion or a drive toward something find a way to do that.
Don’t waste your lifetime ticking boxes to please other people whilst convincing yourself, you are doing it for you.

The power is really in the Now.
