It is quite the challenge getting a life/work balance and that balance is different for everybody.
It is something that comes up often in conversations with students and friends – how to achieve a happy balance, so here are a some suggestions that will help.
1) Know what you want.
Not what others want or what the world tells you want – know what you want and work towards that.
If you don’t know – start asking yourself questions so you can start some balls rolling.
2) Know the difference between daydreaming and desires.
If you know you daydream of a life and believe it won’t happen…. it won’t.
If you know that you have a desire, work towards it, it may or may not come to you the way you imagined – regardless the outcome – start your journey.
There is no room for doubt.
3) Adapt.
That is your job. How open you are to that word and that concept – you have to evolve and adaptation is key. This is way of nature and you are part of that.
If you try to control the outcome, it is going to get pretty bumpy for you.
All of the above encourage you to create.
When you address what you are passionate about, what is charming to you – the balance happens naturally.
